I’ve been passionate about training my whole life. As someone with arthritis in my knees, doctors told me to avoid so many activities and exercises, despite telling me that I could only partake in sport if I got stronger. I went to a trainer in Singapore who told me that Olympic lifts, which I admired from afar, ‘weren’t for me’. Then I met Jane.
I can safely say that meeting Jane has been a blessing. She has a passionate ‘can do’ attitude, unflinching patience and a meticulous attention to detail. If my personal feelings aren’t enough of a testimonial I can refer facts. I’m training for a half marathon. Under my personalised program I’ve wiped 44 seconds off my split times due to the strength and conditioning training, (which any runner will tell you is a lot). When I started training with Jane in 2019, I had no prior gym experience but wanted to build strength and stability to help me in my sport of dressage. Janes programming is specifically and meticulously targeted at my needs and she takes a lot of time to understand my busy training and competition schedule, ensuring that I peak at the right time and give the best performance when it counts. One huge benefit is the extensive (p)rehabilitation work which we do which reduced my previously problematic back pain almost immediately after starting with her. I am now much fitter, more balanced and have great independent control of what my body is doing allowing me to give each of my 3 competition horses 100% every ride.

I grew to a point with my training and lifestyle that I felt it had no direction and was all round dissatisfied with my body. Jane listened to my training goals and made a program heavily focussed towards functional training whilst also re-writing my technique with compound strength movements. One key benefit has been the additional prehab exercises Jane has programmed for me, particularly with ankle mobility which I never realised the extent of its hindrance until now. For the first time, my squat, deadlift and bench all feel like ACTUAL movements and not just an ego lift.

Jane really listened to my goals and individual needs and I can see that she genuinely cares about my program and how I am progressing. The level of detail and knowledge which has gone into my training is clear and I have seen a huge improvement in my figure skating ability, strength and confidence.
My skating specific program incorporates mobility, strength, conditioning and stability and one of my biggest achievements has been my improvements in mobility which is an area that I really wanted to focus on. Not just this but I have found the process extremely flexible which has been a huge help with a busy lifestyle. How will my training be delivered?
> Your training will be delivered through a state of the art coaching app which I will update weekly with your training program.
What does the nutrition coaching entail?
> You will receive my entire 12-week nutrition program which will be tailored to your needs. More details can be found in 'nutrition coaching'
Do I have to wait for my weekly check in if I get stuck?
> Certainly not! You have direct access to me for the entire duration of your program.
Am I tied into a contract?
> Initially we will work together for 6 months. After this you have the option to move onto a rolling monthly agreement.
What happens if I go on holiday or fall sick during our initial 6 month period?
> No problem, we can freeze your program until you are ready to return to training.
Do I have to be an athlete to enrol for individual coaching?
> Not at all. I work with a wide range of individuals who are both well training athletes and every day individuals.
